Privacy Policy

GolfNext PK ("GolfNext", "we", "us") runs the GolfNext PK mobile app and the website golfnextpk.com, which golfers in Pakistan use to register as members, book games and join golf tours. This policy explains what information we collect, why, who can see it, and how you can delete it. It applies to the app and to golfnextpk.com.

1. Information we collect

• Account details: your name, phone number, email address, WhatsApp number, golf handicap, and your password (stored only in encrypted, hashed form).
• Club membership: your club, membership number and membership dates, if you tell us you are a club member.
• Tour registrations: the tours you join, your choices for each round (holes, caddy, trolley, cart, special instructions), your travel choice, your accommodation choice, and your estimated costs.
• Car details: if you offer seats in your car, its make, model year and engine size, used to calculate each person's share of fuel and tolls.
• Groups and invitations: if you invite friends to your group, the name, phone number and other details you enter for them, so they can receive the invitation.
• Carpool, room-mate and flight matching: requests you send and receive, and who you share a car, room or golf flight with.
• Game bookings: the club, date, time, holes and players of games you book.
• Verification codes: one-time codes sent to your phone to confirm it is yours.
• Technical data: the sign-in token that keeps you logged in, and standard server logs (such as IP address and time of request) used to keep the service secure.

We do not collect your location, contacts, photos or payment card details through the app.

2. How we use it

• To create and secure your account and confirm your phone number.
• To register you for tours, arrange rounds, flights, tee-off times, transport and accommodation, and calculate your estimated costs.
• To let you find and confirm carpool companions, room-mates and flight partners on the same tour.
• To send you in-app notices about your registration, invitations and changes made by your group leader or by GolfNext.
• To book games with clubs and to verify club membership where needed.
• To prevent misuse and to meet legal obligations.

3. Who can see your information

• Other members on the same tour: when you take part in carpool, room-mate or flight matching, members who are registered for the same tour and taking part in that matching can see your name, email, phone and WhatsApp number, handicap, club and membership number, so you can contact each other. Members of other tours never see these details.
• Your group: the leader and joined members of a tour group can see each other's details and the group's car and room plan.
• Golf clubs and venues: the details needed to book your rounds, rooms or games (for example your name and membership number).
• GolfNext staff: authorised staff use the admin panel to organise tours and support members.
• Service providers: companies that host our servers or deliver SMS messages, only to provide those services to us.
• Authorities: when the law requires it.

We do not sell your personal information or share it for advertising.

4. How long we keep it

We keep your information while your account is active. Unfinished sign-ups are removed automatically after a short time. When you delete your account, we delete your personal information as described in section 6. Server logs are kept for a limited period for security and are then deleted.

5. Security

Information is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS), passwords are stored hashed, and access to the admin panel is limited to authorised staff. No system is completely secure, so please keep your password private.

6. Deleting your account and data

You can delete your account at any time:

• In the app: Profile → Delete account.
• On the web: https://golfnextpk.com/delete-account.

This deletes your account, profile, club membership details, tour registrations, car details, notifications, matching requests and game bookings. You are taken out of any carpool, room or flight, and a group you lead is handed to another member. Your name in other members' group history is replaced with "Deleted member". Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.

7. Children

GolfNext PK is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

8. Your choices

You can view and update your profile in the app, and you can ask us for a copy of your information or to correct it by contacting us.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the effective date above and, for important changes, tell you in the app.
